As part of the Influenster Violet VoxBox I received Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo which absorbs excess oils, cleans without water and gives your hair a lite matte finish.
I have never used a dry shampoo and was hesitant thinking it wouldn't work but I was actually amazed with this product. Normally I wash my hair every 2 days but I waited a third day so I can see if it worked in getting that greasy look out.
The dry shampoo is simple to use. Just spray generously to your roots and throughout your hair, then brush and style your hair as you'd like.
With me saving so much time without having to wash my hair I was able to curl my hair and get ready in half the time I usually take.
Some tips that I have:
- Don't spray too close onto your hair. doing so causes a lot more white powder into your hair making it a bit harder to get out.
- Brush your hair right after spraying. If you leave it on too long without brushing your hair will be more hard and crunchy.
The Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo made my hair look fuller and amazing! Overall I loved this product because it did make my hair less greasy. I will definitely be trying some other products of theirs!
