Purex PowerShot Review & Giveaway

Laundry has never been a favorite chore of mines but thanks to Purex I am actually looking forward to it! Purex always find new ways to simplify our laundry routine and this time they have outdone themselves with the new Purex PowerShot which takes the guesswork out of measuring.

You simply open the cap, flip the bottle upside down which will give one dose of detergent. Flip the bottle back upright and you're done! It'll also automatically refills for your next load. Use 1 flip for regular loads and 2 for the extra dirty loads.  The concentrated formula also has 50% more stain fighting power in every drop.

I tested the Purex Power Shot out first on my husband's work clothes which needed 2 flips since it was a large load and also because it was his work clothes which tend to get more dirty.

                

 

I really liked how easy it was to use and the fact that no detergent spilled which is something I maybe do 99% of the time. It also saved me a little time and this mommy of two can use all the extra time needed!

I love Bath & Body Works products and love stocking up when I get a great deal. Today only all lotions are $3 which is a great price. Even if you aren't a fan of Bath & Body Works with the holidays coming up this is great for small gifts and stocking stuffers. I got 13 bottles and paid oop $26.50 which is about $2.04 a bottle!

Purex Crystals Aromatherapy Review

Laundry is a chore that is never ending in our household. When I do laundry I like to make sure not only that the clothes are clean but they actually smell good too. Thanks to Purex for always thinking of the next best thing and coming out with new Purex Crystals Aromatherapy in wash scent booster. 

I received a bottle of the Purex Crystals Aromatherapy in Well Being which is described as "brightens any mood with the happy fragrance of fresh blossoms."  This scent is amazing and it really did leave my laundry smelling great. My favorite was later climbing into bed after changing the freshly laundered linens. 

The Purex Crystals are easy to use and will help eliminate laundry odors. The cap on the bottle is a nice measuring tool to pour the desired amount depending on your load size. After loading the clothes into the washing machine just pour a cap full onto the clothes and let the crystals do the work. 

I liked this scent so much that I decided to add some of the Purex Crystals Aromatherapy into a few small organza bags. I tied them shut and placed them in different areas of our home like under the beds and under the sofa,  in a vase and in the closet. It can be used anywhere and it helped keep not only our clothes smelling good but also our home!

Dial Coconut Water Refreshing Mango Review & Giveaway

Finding the right body wash is important to me because it's my "me time" and a few minutes to have to myself. As a working mother to two toddlers I don't get much free time so I look forward to some quietness while taking a shower. :)

One of the main things I look for in a body wash is one that lathers well. I don't want to use the entire bottle to get a lather but the Dial Coconut Water Refreshing Mango Review is great! I only used a couple drops and it was a good amount to get a nice lather and enough to wash my entire body.

What's even better is how heavenly and relaxing the scent is and for just a few minutes I can close my eyes and imagine being in some tropical island with a Mai Tai in one hand.. ;)

Another thing I liked is the bottle being clear which lets me know when I'm running low and need to get a new bottle.

Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets Review

Laundry for me is not my favorite chore but leave it to Purex to come out with something new and amazing making me eager to do laundry!

Before even opening up the box of Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets I could smell how amazing it was. I have 2 toddlers who are messy and spill a lot which means their laundry hamper gets filled up pretty quickly so I knew a laundry day would here soon. I usually add 4-5 dryers sheets but since Purex Crystals Dryer sheets have 3 times more fragrance in each sheet I only needed two. Even when I took the clothes out of the dryer to fold I could still smell the lavender blossom.

Don't think you can only you use Purex Crystal Dryer Sheets for your laundry because it really can be used anywhere you like to keep smelling fresh. A few ideas would be in your drawers, the bottom of the garbage bins, inside those smelly sneakers, under the bed, etc.

Purex No Sort for Colors

Laundry for me is one of my least favorite chores. It's a long process which begins with sorting the colors from the whites and something I am guilty of skipping almost always! Now, thanks to Purex I won't have to feel bad when I skip this step. 

Purex No Sort for Colors has a  Anti Color Transfer Technology that traps loose dyes in the wash not allowing it to settle into other fabrics.

I tried the Purex No Sort laundry detergent first on my daughters clothes. As you can see in the photos there is red, pink and white all together in this load. Now, time to see if this detergent claims to do as it says.

When the clothes were finished washing I was pleased to see that the red pants did not bleed into the white shirt leaving me with a load of cotton candy pink colored clothes. The clothes also smelled wonderful and as much as I dislike doing laundry I love the smell of clean clothes.  

I like that this saves me a little time and will continue to use this Purex No Sort for Colors laundry detergent.
